TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I made my way into the classroom in 2012 and primarily teach 4th grade, though I have experience in the 2nd-5th grade classroom. My philosophy in creating educational materials is to create lessons that not only allow all students access to learn the material, but to also promote collaboration and highlight the strengths of all students.

I studied psychology in my undergraduate career and later earned my MA in Education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Though I find it difficult, I work hard to bring balance to my teaching life. When I'm not teaching I enjoy a myriad of hobbies, but mainly surfing. I get major cool points with my students for this. Some other hobbies I enjoy are cooking, travelling, yoga, and decorating my teeny tiny home with DIY projects and thrift store finds.
