TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience teaching 3rd grade social studies and ELA, and 4th grade math, science, and social studies. My true passion is for math for all grades. I have had time to experience math in all grades, and I am finding new ways to reach all students!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in meeting students where they are in math. Principals and administrators keep pushing for differentiated instruction, but I find it truly is the best way to keep our students engaged. I love taking lessons and making them fun for the students and the teacher!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

As a first year teacher I have received teacher of the month for engaging my students in math. I strive to reach every student.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2015 with a degree in Elementary Education and Certified to teach grades 1-5.
