TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Most of my career has been spent teaching 7th grade Math, but I have also taught Life Science and Social Studies, as well as 6th grade and 8th grade math. I have experience with regular classroom settings, co-teach classrooms, gifted classrooms, and remedial classrooms.

I like to think I blend what worked from the "old-school" way in which I was taught {because there was some good stuff} with tried-and-true, proven best practices and modern technology to create a fun, hands-on, comfortable classroom environment!

I have a B.S. in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in Math and Science: Geology. However, I am certified to teach all content areas in Grades 4 - 8. I am working on my Master's Degree.
