I currently am a supply teacher for my board, interspersed with several maternity and disability leave LTO coverages.
I wouldn't say I have one specific style as I continuously change it up depending on the needs of the class and the school. I will say that as a music teacher, I am not a teacher who believes that everyone will be good at playing an instrument, and I try to do assessments based on several factors. I will assess my students with their instrument, but I will also do at least one listening analysis per semester, composition assignments, and I try to include a composer based assignment (determined by how much time I am in that school).

I have been involved in music for most of my life: starting to play the piano at age 4, guitar at age 7, drums at age 11, bass at age 13; and slowly learning additional instruments as the years go by. It is my life goal to learn how to play each "Western" instrument (to a minimum of a grade 3 level of proficiency), and then begin on the "Eastern" instruments.
