I've been a champion educator for over 15 years. I taught in my own classroom for ten years, including both public and private school. For the last 5 years I have worked in the nonprofit space to: * design and develop teacher professional development; * coach teachers, school leaders, and district administrators; and * implement organizational change at the classroom, school, and district levels.
I use a balanced, thematic, whole-child approach that focuses on student growth and the process of learning rather than the products. My students enjoyed my "unique" style of teaching that is student-centered and data-driven. I allow as much free expression of learning as possible and I primarily use alternative assessments.
