I first began my journey in education as a bilingual tutor, teaching first graders how to read in Spanish. Thereafter, I have been a substitute teacher, Spanish teacher, and homeschool teacher. Currently, I am working as a Freelance Translator, but the teacher and tutor will always be in me.
I enjoy making Spanish lesson plans fun and engaging for students. I personally enjoy the student-centered approach, which allows the student to take an active role in what is being taught.
Foreign Language Honor Society (Phi Sigma Iota). Certificate of recognition and commendation awards.
I hold a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Spanish Studies with a concentration in literature, culture, and linguistics.
Sharing my love and knowledge of the Spanish language, history, and culture of the Spanish-speaking world. I also enjoy making educational videos about the Hispanic-Latino culture and language. You can find me on YouTube and Instagram @Madre Maestra 33.
