Little Vikings

A dozen plus classroom teaching years have gone into the making of these resources . - Sprinkle into that living in five countries: the US, Denmark, England, Spain, and Sweden. - Then add teaching students from over 40 different language backgrounds In the end, you discover that it doesn't matter what program or curriculum you use, in the end it is about knowing your students and providing them with engaging activities that cement knowledge and allow for thinking to occur.

I use imaginative play, centers, and games because students often don't realize all of the learning and work that they are accomplishing. I try to cover as many disciplines as I can in any activity both to make my job of covering all curriculum easier and to help students get past thinking the only know how to do something on a worksheet.

I married a Dane and acquired two non-English speaking little vikings at home. We play lots of games to learn English and many of them show up here. (Though only the ones that get the kids' stamps of approval,) My two bonus kids plus their soon-to-arrive little brother are the little vikings of the logo, therefore, this is their store, I just do all of the work.
