Little Patriots is a program created by Dr. Ben Carson's nonprofit the American Cornerstone Institute by education professionals with decades of experience in the K-5 field. At Little Patriots, we believe in the power of education to inspire a deeper appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy and to cultivate the next generation of informed, engaged citizens. By providing our cartoon episodes and corresponding curriculum for free, we aim to make these important lessons accessible to as many learners as possible, regardless of their educational context.
Recognizing the busy schedules of educators and parents, our Little Patriots materials are structured for ease of use, with clear instructions, lesson plans, and materials that can be easily adapted to various educational settings and learning objectives. Each grade level K-5th features a 5-8 minute cartoon episode, 30 minute lesson guide, a clear scope and sequence, and an optional faith supplement. A variety of additional activities comprise these robust, adaptable units on various American history topics.
Endorsed by the State of Alaska as supplemental education material for public elementary schools. Our cartoon series, Star Spangled Adventures, was a finalist in the 2022 International Christian Film Festival.
Our worksheets and course work is created by educators with decades of experience teaching in the K-5 and K-12 space. Our curriculum writers also hold various degrees ranging from Bachelors to PHDs. Our high-quality cartoon series is developed by a professional animation team that's been a part of ABC Kids, Disney and Nickelodeon products, and features a writer from the hit series Veggie Tales and Dennis the Menace.
