I have a Bachelor of Music with a major in Piano and minor in Flute. I have been teaching private lessons for 27 years.

I believe that what matters most is that music is fun. Something that students sit down to do (hopefully for the rest of their lives) that makes them feel happy. To help keep everyone having fun I use music games in pretty much every lesson. Kids often won't do theory books at home so if you have a game for everything you can engage those kids in learning theory which is so important

I live on beautiful Vancouver Island Canada. I am mom to a 10 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. When I am not in my music studio I am home schooling my kids. Or mostly game schooling! We have two dogs and two cats and we love being outdoors. We are always hiking, or on the beach, or up the mountain and learning as we go. Teaching has been my passion since I started talking. I constantly take courses and learn new skills. I love it!
