I am currently in my ninth year teaching. I have spent the last three school years teaching at the school I attended Kindergarten through 12th grade. I taught five years in an ESE classroom. I currently teach kindergarten. My students keep me on my toes and I am constantly learning to ensure my students are fully benefiting from me.
I enjoy hands on learning to keep my students engaged. Anytime I can make learning fun that is what I do.

I attended Chipola College to obtain my Associates of Arts and graduated in 2012. Then I left my hometown to pursue a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. In my training, I grew to understand the development of language and the importance of that development to a child’s education. I also studied American Sign Language for three semesters and learned a new understanding to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Culture. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 and returned to my hometown where I started teaching at Sneads Elementary School.
I'm just a small town girl, living the small town life. I grew up and went to school in the small town of Malone. Malone School is a small K-12 school with about 500 students total. It was a great place to grow up in. I am now married to my high school sweetheart, who attended my school's rival high school. We have both currently teach at our alma maters, so we are rivals again. We have a beautiful daughter, who is three years old.
