TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have loved teaching for 27 years. I have taught multi-linglual preschool, bi-lingual kindergarten and first grarde, and general ed kindergarten and 2nd grade. I have loved working with student interns and student teachers, and they have inspired me to develop my skills with technology. I have recently "retired" and plan to guest teach and continue creating materials to help teachers with resources to help children learn.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to think of myself as a holistic teacher. I love infusing technology, direct instruction, and the arts (both expressive and performing) into my lessons. I think its important to teach with the brain in mind and mix it all up with whole group, small group, and individual instruction.
