TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching for over 20 years. I've taught 6th, 5th, and 3rd grades, and I've been a substitute in all grades K-6th. I like to create products that are easy to differentiate with students' different needs and skill levels.

A lot of students have told me I'm strict, but fair. I tend to set high expectations for my students because they truly can achieve great things if we push them to see what they're capable of.

I received my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies from Cal State Long Beach. I received my teaching credential and Master's Degree in Education from the University of LaVerne.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Life With 5 Boys! Yes, I've been blessed with 5 boys. Their ages are 20, 17, 14, 13, and 3. As you can see, #5 was our surprise bundle of joy. We weren't expecting him, but we cannot imagine our lives without him. Plus, my older 4 have learned a lot about how to take care of a baby -- they help feed, change, and bathe him! I was born and raised in Southern California. At the beginning of 2021, we took a leap of faith and moved to Eastern Idaho. It's been the best decision for our family, and I love living somewhere where there are 4 seasons!! In my spare time (HA!) I love watching TV (Walking Dead!! and Christmas movies :) ), reading, and writing.
