TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 25 years teaching experience in various areas including grades K-6 and ESL. I created an in-class cross-curricular program that engaged students for many years to include most subject areas: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies and the Arts. I worked as the Board's ESL Consultant and resource teacher for 7 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Learn by doing and have fun along the way! Engage the student with fun activities and they learn without even knowing it!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Having my cross-curricular classroom program featured on TV (at the beginning and the end of the year), an article published in the Board's local newsletter, and having my program featured, also, in our Teacher's publication sent to all Ontario teachers, was a great opportunity to showcase an innovative approach to learning.
