TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an educator for 5 years, including 4 years of classroom experience in my university studies. My main grade taught has been 3rd grade but I have co-taught, student taught, and worked in classrom K-5. My favorite role was a K-8 arts based charter school that championed the arts.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very student, relationship, and community focused I love teaching through memorable hands-on learning, student led research + projects, focusing heavily on character building, and meeting students where they are at. My favorite kinds of activities to plan and subjects to teach are STEM projects, science experiements, arts integrated into everyday curriculum, and hands on math activities.
