Since graduating from Liberty University, I have taught middle and high school students grades 8-12 both in an alternative school and public high school. I have taught 8th graders as an English teacher, 9-11th graders as a Special Educator where I co-taught with an English teacher, and 11th graders as a Special Educator where I co-taught with a History teacher. In addition, I have taught a prep course for 12th graders who planned on getting their GED.
Through my teaching experiences, I learned that planning differentiated lesson plans is essential for meeting the needs of students with different background knowledge and various learning styles. In my store, I have provided some creative activities that were a success in my classroom.
