I have worked in moderate/severe special education for 5 years at the high school level, as well as in a general education 9th grade. My boredom in Corporate America motivated me to become a teacher. I am currently teaching moderate/severe High School/Adult Transition at a public title one school.
I am passionate about giving special education students all of the tools and resources they need to become independent adults. With the appropriate scaffolds, tools, and teaching I believe students can be successful. And while hard work is important, you can usually find a dance party in my classroom at the end of the day.

Hi I'm Jocelyn! I'm an educator in Boston Public Schools with special education students ages 14-22. In my free time I enjoy running marathons (I'm trying to run a marathon in all 50 states), spending time with my rescue dogs Rex & Riley, and my new family. I am also a proud indoor and outdoor track coach and yoga instructor.
