Kevin Pace

I am a musician / educator located in the Salt Lake valley. I have years of teaching experience in the public school system. Also years of experience in piano teaching, accompanying, arranging, composing, recording, transposing and transcribing music. Here is a brief summary of my credentials, experience, awards and so forth: 1) I have a Bachelor's degree in music composition at the University of Utah. 2) I have written and arranged dozens of books for piano solo and piano duet. I have written music ranging from easy to difficult. 3) I have written music for mixed choir, men's choir, women's choir, violin and organ. 4) I have recorded many CD's including original piano solos, piano accompaniments to concertos, tapes and records converted to CD and live concerts. 5) I have a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Utah. 6) I have produced piano accompaniment CD's for teachers, classrooms and others who like to sing but have no access to a piano. These CD's contain music for various holidays and special themes including Christmas, Halloween, Patriotic, US Folk Songs and a CD of all original music to teach values entitled "The Greatest Me That I Can Be". 7) I have set numerous poems and texts to music. One of my favorite past times is taking poetry written by school children and turning the poetry into a song.

I have received several awards in composition from the Utah Music Teachers' Association and from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints composition competition.

Master's Degree in Special Education. Taught in elementary schools for 32 years. Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition.
