TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I graduated in 2009 from Westfield State University in Massachusetts. I taught preschool for 6 months before completing my student teaching in 3rd grade. I got a job at that school in first grade and taught there for a year. I traveled to Indiana, back to Massachusetts, and then to The Netherlands where I taught "year 5" (fourth grade) at an International school in Maastricht. After moving back home in 2012, I taught in second for 3 years and then in first grade where I am teaching now.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I want my students to love school and learning. I want them to be engaged and have fun. I try to use and create differentiated activities so that I can meet my students where they are at.
