I taught all levels of high school art, photography, and computer graphics for 34 years in Fairfax County Public Schools/Va.. I also coached football, track and gymnastics. In addition to teaching/coaching I also generate art works and murals for various purposes.
I've found that classroom management is essential towards producing a safe, learning environment. I've always tried to develop strategies to make learning fun for all kids, as it seems to help students develop social skills in addition to building confidence through the interaction of various activities.
