K Grations Learning Station

I student taught in 5th grade and went on to teach first grade in Southern West Virginia. I've now taught for 2 years and passionately enjoy my time spent helping my students grow and succeed.

I use a variety of teaching styles to cater to diverse learners. I love to include partner discussions, movement, and technology whenever possible. I typically try to keep my lessons learner-centric in order to foster independence and responsibility in my students.

My shining moment as a teacher has been turning a class of low-performers around to one of the highest achieving classes in my school. Nothing has made me more proud than seeing their faces when they learned how to read and reached their goals!

I graduated from Concord University in 2021 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education.

Teaching and collaborating with other educators is my passion, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!
