I have taught grades 1-4 for 28 years. I taught self-contained classes and also teamed with other classes. I taught 4th grade reading, writing, and science in departmental classes. For the last 5 years I was a second grade reading teacher teamed with 2 other teachers.

I taught reading and math in whole group instruction and then divided students into small groups/centers. For the past 2 years I used a smartboard and laptops to teach reading in whole group and small group

I am now retired and sub for my school district. I currently tutor students after school in reading and math.
