I am Johanna Russell. I started teaching in 2003, and I am addicted to the joys and the challenges of teaching! Hobbies... I think I remember having those once upon a time. I am not sure you can call a 6-year-old, 9-year-old, and a husband a hobby. How we have a lot of family activities. We are huge into (indoor) rock climbing. We go for several hours every week. We also love to camp. By camp I mean, we have a pop-up camper that has power and running water. My days of roughing it went out the window when changing a diaper and potty training became a part of the camping experience. As the kids are getting older, we have started to enjoy biking and kayaking. We are continually delighted by all that Iowa has to offer.
