My name is Isabel Pardo and I am currently serving as a third grade teacher and grade level chairperson at Zora Neale Hurston Elementary School. I have been teaching for 27 years and I love it. I have also served as a lead teacher for my school for 3 years. I have had the pleasure of teaching Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4h and 5th grade. Additionally, I am gifted certified as well as ESOL endorsed.
My teaching style is a hands on approach. I like to incorporate projects and creative thinking in my lessons.
I have had the pleasure and honor of being teacher of the year in 2003. It was an exceptionally special and rewarding award to receive from my collegues.
I graduated from Florida International University in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science. I later received my Masters of Science and have my leadership certification from Nova Southeastern University.
On a personal note, I am a mom of two incredible boys, a teacher of amazing 3rd graders, a wife to a terrific husband of 25 years.
