I've taught 1st & 6th grade Math and Science for over 10 years. Since 2016, I've also been an instructor for several teacher education programs and enjoy working with learners of all ages!
Above all else, I believe relationships are KEY. I value a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters creativity and individuality. While I'm not a huge fan of 'rules', I believe STRUCTURE is the foundation for massive success. This has been one of my biggest growth opportunities and I'm learning more and more every single day. I work hard to create a classroom culture of curiosity and connection and teach my students the power of asking great questions. When I show up for my day with an open heart and a smile, everything is smoother ... I'm a huge fan of starting my days early with a walk and a meditation to let go of yesterday's baggage and bring my best self to the day ahead. I believe every day is a chance for a fresh start!
