Imagination Station Preschool

I have had 7 years experience as a higher education clinical instructor in undergraduate nursing programs. I now stay at home with my three kids who are in 1st grade, pre-k, and preschool. They are in school either full or part-time and my first grader attends a language immersion public charter school where he is taught in Mandarin. It has been my responsibility to teach him English language arts for the first two years of his elementary experience. I will continue to do that for my other two children as well. I will mostly be focusing on teaching products from preschool level- 3rd grade as my kids will be getting in school English instruction by the third grade. All of my products posted are ideas and lessons I have used with my children and have tailored to their learning needs at home and at school. Many lessons have mirrored what they are learning in school to help to clarify and reinforce any knowledge that may get lost due to the language immersion curriculum model.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University and a Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado where I earned my degree as a family nurse practitioner. I have been a RN for 15 years and a NP for almost 10 years and I hold a certification as an FNP granted by the ANCC.

I am opening an in-home, play-based preschool program in the fall of 2017 called Imagination Station Preschool. I will be creating pre-k level resources for the preschool, but will also continue to create resources for elementary school as well.
