I have been teaching since August 2005. I began my career in a Title One school teaching fifth grade ELA. Since then, I have taught 4th and 5th grade low performing students to the highest of the high performing students in ELA and Social Studies. I'm currently a high school math and science Master Teacher helping teachers unlock their potential to improve their craft so students can unlock their potential.
I prefer to teach through student-to-student interaction...meaning I allow students to have 75% of the conversation while I have 25%. It has been my experience that while I know I am the teacher, students learn from their peers.
