TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught Elementary and Middle School for the past 10 years with independent classes thrown in here and there. Currently, I am working with 8th graders and loving every minute of it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My goal is to connect with the kids because we all know we teach more than just curriculum. I want kids to feel "seen" in my classroom. I do this by sharing stories during our lessons and asking them to share their own stories to help connect those lessons with what is actually going on in their lives. They may not always enjoy social studies, but they always love coming to my class.
