I am new to teaching, though I always knew I'd end up here. I took about a ten-year hiatus to experience other things. Then, I had a son and as he entered school, I knew it was time for me to join him. So, in 2018, I went back to school for my 2nd BA and get licensed. Then, in the fall of 2019, I started teaching in a 4th-grade classroom, which is every bit as magical as I expected it to be!
I am a super structured, technologically enhanced, inclusion teacher. While I am still learning so much about who I am as a teacher and am certain many things about my teaching style will change, these things likely will not.
