With over 10 years of experience in the education industry, Charlotte has worked both in the classroom, teaching students, and out, working with teachers at schools across Australia to deliver fun, impactful professional learning experiences online and in person. Her Master of Education thesis examined the ways in which teachers form their pedagogical beliefs, and how they change over time – research that has served her well in her shift from teaching students, to teaching teachers. In 2020-2021 she delivered weekly live PL webinars to over 1500 teachers Australia-wide discussing topics such as best-practice revision, feedback and assessment, numeracy and literacy in the classroom, effective lesson planning, and more. She’s passionate about supporting teachers to extend and develop their professional practice, enabling them to in turn support the youth of Australia to enjoy their school experience, be passionate learners and reach their individual potential. Grow got its name because Charlotte believes that as educators we never stop learning, never stop growing.
