TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My student teaching experience was in the 3rd grade and Algebra. I now teach in a small private middle school teaching 6th grade Language Arts, Math, Technology and Religion. I also teach 7th grade math and Algebra! Many people ask why I teach Middle School and if I want to change... NO! I LOVE my middle school students! They love being silly too; it's just our job to help them overcome their insecurities so they can have fun!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I LOVE teaching and I want my students to LOVE learning. I challenge my students everyday and try to make every lesson relevant to their lives. We also play a TON of games, complete projects, and laugh... a LOT!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have had the honor to be a presenter at the 2014 and 2016 Indiana NonPublic Education Conference!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

University of Southern Indiana Elementary Education Major, Math and Language Arts Minors and a Primary Endorsement

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Everything I post, I actually use in my classroom. If you have any questions about how to use them or suggestions on how I use them in my classroom, just ask! My goal is to help teachers reach out to their students so they can begin to enjoy middle school!
