Fun First Grade Bee Hive

I have been teaching first grade for 11 years. I've taught inclusion, regular, and accelerated classes. I pride myself in my ability to meet the needs of the individual learner through Differentiated Instruction and early interventions.

I teach using whole brain teaching strategies, Kagan and PBIS. I believe in creating a fun, loving learning environment. We participate in bucket filling, and cheers to encourage one another. I also believe in setting my expectations very high so that my students are challenged.

Bachelor's Degree earned from Southeastern Louisiana University 12 hours earned toward Master's in Educational Leadership

I have been married for 18 years and have a 13 year old daughter and 12 year old son. I enjoy interior design as a hobby. Pintrest and TPT are my two addictions.
