I currently teach psychology and civics at Benton High School in Benton, Louisiana. I have taught middle and high school, and I feel more genuine in the high school classroom. I started teaching in 2009 and am proud of what I am doing for my students.
My teaching style is very traditional. With that, I encourage student participation and engage in open discussion when possible. I understand I am teaching more than just my content, and hope to impart empowerment beyond the classroom to my students.

I am a father of two children with my wife who is also an educator. We live in Benton, LA and both work at Benton High School. My wife teaches gifted students. I am also planning on earning a degree in counseling to become an LPC and working in private practice. I enjoy what I do, and have found my students to be an enriching part of my life.
