TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I spent my first six years as a kindergarten teacher. I also spent two summers as an English teacher in Trujillo Honduras in '01 and '03. Now, I am in my fifth year as a 4th grade math and science teacher in a Spanish Partial-Immersion program. I love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I taught kindergarten for six years, I am now in my 5th year as a 4th grade Spanish immersion teacher. I thought the jump from kindergarten to 4th grade would be a big one, but instead I found that little has changed - kids are kids. Get their hands on things, let them play, allow them to create, and the learning will follow. :)
