I've taught everything from G1-adults. I was an ESL teacher for 10 years, but I have taught in the elementary classroom for the past 12 years with American, German, Swiss, and IB curricula. I grew up in Asia attending International Schools. After a year of Worldschooling my child through 28 countries, I am currently teaching G3 in an International School in Africa... It's a good life :) If you are interested in knowing more, feel free to contact me!
I mostly believe in the Swiss pedagogy exemplified by Pestalozzi, which has a strong emphasis on the importance of Nature. I believe in experiential learning. However, this isn't always possible. The next best way for kids to learn is to simulate the experience. I use GAMES as a way to engage students in their learning as an experience, hence my game corner. I mostly have card games, but will eventually expand on this.
