TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I was a classroom teacher for 32 years in the Baltimore County School System. I am a certified reading specialist. Upon retirement, I began writing reading/language skill books for teachers. My books are titled: The Big Book of Dolch Sight Word Activities ( Carson-Dellosa Publishing), The Big Book of Decoding Vowels ( Carson Dellosa Publishing) Using Context Clues to Help Kids Tackle UnfamiliarWords ( Scholastic), Phonics Rules! ( Remedia Publications) , Synonyms Galore (Super Duper Publications) and Hooray for HHH! -Homonnyms- Heteronyms-Homophones ( Super Duper Publications) My published books can be found on Amazon.com. Currently, I tutor students in grades K- 5th. The materials that I will post are meant to provide practice, remediation, and reinforcement for students in the areas of reading and vocabulary.
