Erin J Murray

I have been teaching now for over 10 years. I started in college as a Pre-K teacher once I graduated I taught 2nd grade in Utah. From there I went back to my roots and taught pre-k in Colorado. After a few years I took on the task of getting my masters while being an Instructional/Data Coach at a K-5 elementary school in North Dakota. I lived in Minnesota where I was a classroom teacher, a reading specialist and a talent development teacher! I took a year off to travel and explore the world. While traveling I will still be creating supplemental games, activities, and projects focused around elementary students.

My teaching style is very reflective and big picture. I always reflect upon my lessons and have students reflect on their work and correct mistakes. I try to embody the student's whole self into each lesson, creating engaging activities, projects and games that help educate the whole child while focusing on standards, problem solving, and real life learning experiences.

In my down time I enjoy traveling, hiking, rock climbing, camping, skiing, crafting and hanging out with friends.
