TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in 4 different Title 1 schools. I've taught the following grades and subjects: 7th Grade EL/ELA 8th Grade ELA 9th Grade ELA 10th Grade ELA K-12 EL

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a "benevolent dictator." I like to give my students fun ways to express their thoughts, opinions, and knowledge.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

2023 Outstanding Graduate Research, Scholarship, Creative Activity from Master's student for Multi-Level Education from the University of North Alabama

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my Bachelor's in Education from the University of North Alabama in December of 2020, then did the graduate work for my EL certification at Lipscomb University in 2021, and am currently in the process of earning my Master's Degree at the University of North Alabama.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a wife, mother, teacher, and advocate. I believe that all students deserve the chance to access the material that they are being taught no matter where they are from, what languages they may or not speak, and their experiences outside of school. I also believe that teachers work extremely hard and want to share the products that I've created for my own classroom in the hopes of making someone else's life easier. You're doing great!
