TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught the following in my career: 9th grade remedial reading; 10th grade inclusion, regular, and honors English; 11th grade inclusion, regular, and honors English; 12th grade inclusion and regular English; and 12th grade AP Literature and Composition. I have also created several resources for Teacher's Discovery. MY TEACHING STYLE

I follow CCSS, incorporating reading literature and informational text, writing of different lengths and genres, grammar/language, and speaking and listening into all of my units. I allow room for creativity, yet keep my curriculum rigorous. I focus on including lessons and activities that engage students of multiple intelligence. My easy-to-use units come complete with step-by-step instructions, appendixes with all the handouts, and the CCSS associated with each activity it is linked to.
