TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have over five years of experience as a high school teacher in a public school setting. During this time, I have taught 7th and 8th grade reading; 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade ESL/ELL courses; 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English; 10th grade honors English; Advanced Placement Literature; and dual credit English courses sponsored by the local university.

I received my BA in English and communication in 2005. In 2008, I was awarded my MAT with a secondary English education concentration. I am certified to teach English (grades 7 through 12) and English as a Second Language (grades K-12). I also have the 18 graduate hours in English that allow me to teach at the college level.
