Emma Tipping Studio

I am a visual artist, STEAM art educator, parent of 2 young children and proponent of English/ Spanish bilingual education. I am currently working as an author and illustrator in children's literature.

My emphasis in the classroom is on creativity, original thinking and personal responsibility. As a STEAM teacher my work with students is mostly in after school problems that I run like a professional art studio. Lessons and class structure are developed with the goal of helping students uncover their own motivations, contribute as a productive member to our classroom community and, most importantly, express their creativity in an intentional and consistent way that they can demonstrate and explain to others.
