TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I teach K-5th grade ART at a rural elementary school in SC. We spend a lot of time making art, however I incorporate a lot of art history, art criticism and writing into my curriculum. I'm also experienced with integrating other subjects into the art curriculum. EmilyGlassSC@gmail.com

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love art for so many reasons, but my favorite thing about it is that it's HANDS ON! I want my students to dive in and experience art. Almost all of my classes begin with a demo of what to do and what not to do. I teach elementary so I have to use a lot of step by step instructions. Then we have independent work time. Then, clean up and line up.
