Description

Awesome classroom management tool! I use these in my classroom to get kids motivated to finish their projects. Rather than having your whole class wait on a few to finish an assignment, use Ketchup and Pickles! I've cut out the two images and hang them on the white board. If students are still working, or need to catch up with the others, they write their name under the Ketchup. If students are finished with the task they will write their name under the Pickle and get to pick what they do next. (A lot of times I will have instructions on the board for the Pickles to do next.) This system holds the students accountable for getting their work done. They don't want to be the only Ketchup left! The kids get a kick out of this and it keeps them on task!

I teach elementary art and I usually do this the day I want something finished to show kids what I'm expecting. I use it several times a week and the kids really respond to it. Ketchups and Pickles would work well in any classroom. Try it out in your classroom today!
