I teach primary level Bilingual & ESL. I have certificates in Elementary Education, Bilingual/Bicultural Education, ESL, Spanish, and am a certified Reading Specialist. I have taught each of these subjects over my career, but most enjoy my current position where I teach the same group of students throughout the entire day, for all subjects.
I love teaching students who come from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. I find it to be incredibly rewarding and humbling. I learn just as much from my students as they do from me, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I was one of those kids who always had her nose buried in a book. I love motivating my students to read and bringing books to their level so they are engaged and can feel pride in their accomplishments. I was never particularly interested in math, nor was I very good at it as a student. I enjoy the new perspective on math that I have as an adult, and teaching math in a way that can be fun and relatable for my students. I have a B.S. in Education and Spanish, an M.A.T. in Spanish, and a M.Ed. in Reading Education.
