10 years public high school (US History, World History, Geography) in south Chicago suburbs; teaching private middle school since 2016 ("social studies" with free range to do as I felt necessary, tying all aspects of social studies to a broad World/US History timeline) in West St. Louis County I have been using the Pearson/SAVVAS myWorld Interactive books since they were first introduced for fall of 2018 (physical books copyright 2019) - information in my materials have been updated to reflect light changes with the 2021 edition, also changed online, but page numbers may need to be adjusted. AMERICAN HISTORY (Jefferson Memorial on cover) and WORLD HISTORY (Eiffel Tower on cover)
I strongly believe in following a timeline - something for students to be able to connect to and go back to - while creating themes and recognizing patterns within a time and place. Even as a Middle School teacher, I reference various aspects of high school AP courses.
