I've spent 10 years teaching Social Studies. I've taught the following courses for Social Studies: World History I World History II US History I American Government Most of my product are geared towards these subjects. I'm also the Climate & Culture Coordinator in my school, so a few products are geared towards that as well. I try to make my courses like college history courses a bit, we discuss and analyze events rather than have endless pointless activities. I prefer material that is straightforward and easy to use without glue or cutting or whatever. I try to make my products emulate what I prefer.
I expect a lot of my students, even though I teach in an impoverished district. My students are just as intelligent and creative as students in more affluent areas, they just need a chance. My style is fun, caring, but tough.
Every year I get myself a celebratory video game at the end.
