I was a classroom teacher for 15 years, where I taught multiple subjects in the social studies discipline. I earned a degree in Instructional Technology and transitioned to the role of a Technology coach.

While in the classroom I evolved my teaching style from being a deliverer of content to a manager of learning. The last few years of being in the classroom, I had begun to shift my style from direct instruction to a more diverse style that included project based learning, inquiry learning through research, and station based lessons.
