TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've taught 7th grade reading for five years! I am now teaching 8th grade English. Before that I worked in various day cares and preschools throughout college. I also volunteered teaching Sunday School as well. With all of that experience put together, I've taught babies all the way through 14 year olds.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to inspire my students to think for themselves (a challenge in middle school). My goal is to get them to completely love at least one book by the end of the year.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Regional Champion of Freestyle Walking Top Chef Presentation Award from 2012

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Stephen F. Austin State University - 4 years bachelor of science degree

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm a mommy of a little toddler and also manage to crush it teaching middlers every day.
