Daniele Cerone-Griffin is a Speech-Language Pathologist at a large school district in Saint Louis County, where she has worked since 2001. She provides professional development and supports educational teams in order to enable students to reach their full potential. In 2009, Cerone-Griffin authored and published an educational product, Photo Occupations WH Questions with Super Duper Publications.
The belief that “all people have the capacity to learn” is a principle that was instilled in her at a very young age, by her parents. Cerone-Griffin believes that all students can be successful and that educational opportunities can bridge-the-gap between difficulty and ability and help us connect as human-beings through communication.
In 2016, Cerone-Griffin was named a Young Alumni Merit Award winner by Southeast Missouri State University representing the College of Health and Human Services. This award honors alumni who have brought distinction to Southeast Missouri State University through professional growth, service and individual character. She has received several Awards for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The ACE Award honors individuals who have made a concerted, personal effort to continue professional learning beyond an academic degree. She has been given the Lasting Impression Award (2010) by a large school district in Saint Louis County being recognized for making a difference both in and outside the classroom, ultimately impacting student success.
Cerone-Griffin graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001, and received a Bachelor of Health Science Degree, majoring in Communication Science and Disorders, from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1999.
In her free time, Cerone-Griffin enjoys fitness classes, reading and traveling. Her favorite moments are spent with her family and friends. She resides in Saint Louis, Missouri with her husband.
