I taught and LOVED kindergarten for two years before making the move to first grade. I truly believe I've found my niche. I'm so blessed to call myself a first grade teacher.
My favorite role is that of the facilitator. I love stepping back and letting my students run with an idea or concept. I'm inspired by Reggio Emilia, Montessori and Waldorf philosophies and attempt to incorporate them as much as possible in my classroom.

I received my BSEd in 2012 from College of the Ozarks. In 2015 I completed my MSEd in Literacy.
I'm a teacher-mom to two precious kiddos. When I'm not spending time with my family, I enjoy creating resources for my classroom. My life goal is to love kids and help them beat whatever odds may be against them.
