I've been lucky to have taught in several different grade levels, including Pre-K, 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade! Most recently, I taught for 3 years in 5th grade, also teaching 5/6 compacted math. Now, I am my school's Gifted Resource teacher. I collaborate with teachers on a daily basis to accommodate and differentiate for gifted learners.
My teaching style is constantly changing! Because I am a gifted resource teacher, and visit several classrooms K-5 a day, I find myself using different styles with different students. Overall, I love hands-on experiences, inquiry based and Problem Based learning, Interactive Notebooks, foldables, Task Cards, and cooperative activities. I am obsessed with all things STEM education.
